My name is Jean Leader and I live in Glasgow, Scotland, but through my lacemaking I have friends all over the world. I design, make, teach and write about lace, and have served as chairman of The Lace Guild and president of the International Organization of Lace (I.O.L.I.). In recognition of my work for lace and lacemaking I received the Marsh Heritage Crafts Volunteer Award. I have been running this personal website for about ten years, and also maintain a site devoted solely to describing different types of lace. If you have any questions or would like advice about any lacemaking problems do feel free to email me.
New and Noteworthy
